Today Kenneth and Daniel finally finished the fence for the backyard, but not before they began a new project: building a dog house for Erik and Jerry, our two cocker spaniels. What began as a project that should have taken about an hour and a half, became an all day project. So much for getting anything else done around the house today. What is it about husbands that makes them do things like that? The important thing is that now the fence is done (and the dog house too, for that matter).

It took me a minute to figure out how to post another entry. But I think I'm getting the hang of it. I'm looking forward to doing more of this, but at this time, I've got to go do the thing that never ends in my house: laundry! I'll be back.

First Day of Blogging

I decided that I would join the craze and start my own blog today. Don't really have any definite plans for it yet, so it will be a work in progress (as is all my life). I'm going to have a look around the site and figure out what I'm doing. I'll be back later.
